I’m a keen slackliner and slackline equipment developer. I think slacklining is not just about walking on a webbing, it’s about being with friends, being in the nature, having a great time together, inspiring each other.
Shortly after I started slacklining I began developing and optimising my own gear: making it safer, lighter, more efficient and easier to use compared to any other equipment.
I wanted to know as much as I can about the earliest climbing equipment and to understand the development process up until today. I am very excited to keep learning and getting more experienced with each day.
I read and learned a lot about climbing, rope teqnuics and slacklining. I keep following the latest technologies and design as well as looking back to the roots in different areas. Industrial technology provided the background on safety, reliability and durability. Thousand years of sailing inspired the development of a handy design. Performance came from alpinism, ideas and passion from slacklining.
I made several prototypes of slackline equipment, which we’ve been using for years with group of friends in the Outdoor Inhales Team.
